Observational drawings week 2

I found developing my drawings a lot of fun. I enjoyed experimenting with wire and collage as they are incredibly versatile ways to work. I found the wire difficult at first though, it has a mind of its own and is not easily manipulated but I was surprised by how effective it looked.

Observational drawing week

I enjoyed this week a lot, and didn't feel much awkwardness while drawing people as I do it quite regularly, to be given the opportunity to do it all day was amazing! I did feel that my drawings improved a lot over the week especially with drawing faces and the proportions of the figures. I will continue to draw wherever I go

photographs inspired by the work of Erwin Wurm, the amount of concentration and coordination needed to keep all the objects in place is unbelievable, definitely more difficult than it looks, which could prove something about modern art which looks 'easy' - the 'a child could have done that' approach.
