Beautiful Broken Toys
I started to think that my first collages were moving away from what i initially wanted my project to be about. They were becoming a bit more about nostalgia rather than beauty in imperfection so i decided to leave them there and started rooting around my house, my boyfriends house, my grandmas house and eventually found some vintage toys all of which were grubby, rusty, had bits missing.. how perfect!
so using these and some found textures and text i created a few collages in which i have tried to think a bit more freely.
